Rational administration of antibiotics in acute infections of the respiratory system

Because antimicrobials are valuable resources, they are used daily around the world to treat infections in humans and animals, saving the lives of millions of people around the world each year. However, with the advent of antimicrobial resistant strains, the effectiveness of these valuable resources has threatened the health of society and the economy of countries, as microbial resistance has become one of the most important public health issues from the perspective of the World Health Organization. In this regard, Techra Daroo Company held a one-day scientific conference entitled Rational Prescription of Antibiotics in Acute Respiratory Infections. This program was held in cooperation with the Infectious Diseases Association at the Parsian Evin Hotel.

The conference began with a lecture by Dr. Minoo Mehrz (Professor of Infectious Diseases, Tehran University of Medical Sciences) on the importance of Stewardship and a lecture by Dr. Payam Tabarsi (Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases, Tehran Medical School) on the topic of reviewing the diagnosis of infections. Acute bacterial respiration continued.

At the end of the conference, there was a discussion and exchange of information between the guests and panel members about the status of coamoxyclav and the importance of the presence of this drug in the treatment of respiratory infections with the aim of observing Stewardship.
